Colourful Tent Wedding at the Harding Waterfront Estate in Mississauga

One thing we can’t get enough of at BLUUMBLVD is a wedding full of colour! When we saw M + E inspiration photos, we were so excited to give them a wedding palette full of intense red and bright yellows and touch of burnt orange.

M’s colourful bridal bouquet included bright yellow and pink dahlias, white ranunculus, yellow mums, Quicksand roses, delicate white sweet peas and a fun addition of pink anthurium.

This outdoor wedding took place at the Harding Waterfront Estate. The wedding ceremony was celebrated in front of the Estate where all their friends and family gathered and watched. The bride and groom chairs were decorated with accents of flowers attached to rattan chairs.

Incorporating their Ghanaian culture into their wedding so important to them. From their wedding outfits to their wedding ceremonies, each element acknowledged and honoured their African heritage.

For this tent wedding at Harding Waterfront Estate, we created long and full flower centerpieces for the harvest tables. we filled in the space of the tables by adding in bud vases single stem flowers. And for the round tables, a floral centerpiece in a white ceramic vase was a perfect complement.

A September wedding could be considered fall but the lingering heat reminds us of summer. This colour palette could easily transition to a fall wedding but we livened the colour palette by adding these two secret ingredients - the bright red-orange roses and yellow dahlias! It goes from a traditional fall wedding colour palette to a summer wedding by adding in right mix of colours.

For the sweet heart table, we created a large statement piece. This ground flower installation was filled with pampas grass, dahlias, amaranthus, amaryllis, eucalyptus, and mums. This big splash of colour was the perfect addition for the head table! We added a few bud vases of flowers along with tapered and votive candles to tie everything in.
